Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse features countless Spider-Man variants, each of whom is at a different stage of their Spider-People journeys. Whereas Spider-Man:Into the Spider-Verse saw multiple Spider-People visit Miles Morales’ world, Across the Spider-Verse saw Spider-Man traveling to different universes. As a result, Across the Spider-Verse featured way more Spider-Man variants than the first film. Still, similar to Into the Spider-Verse, Across the Spider-Verse only followed a handful of main characters.
Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and Peter B. Parker, the main characters in Into the Spider-Verse, all returned for Across the Spider-Verse. There is a significant time jump between Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse, which is why those three Across the Spider-Verse Spider-Man variants now look older. The Into the Spider-Verse sequel was also centered on Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, Pavitr Prabhakar/Spider-Man India, and Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk.
7 How Old Miles Morales Is In Across The Spider-Verse
Miles Morales was around 14 or 15 years old during Spider-Man:Into the Spider-Verse, which covered his first few days at high school. Before the release of Into the Spider-Verse sequel, producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller confirmed that Across the Spider-Verse would take place a year and four months after the first movie. This time jump was confirmed in Across the Spider-Verse. 6 How Old Gwen Stacy Is In Across The Spider-Verse
Like Miles, Gwen Stacy was 14 or 15 years old during Into the Spider-Verse. Therefore, considering the 16-month time jump, Gwen Stacy is 16 years old in Across the Spider-Verse. While Across the Spider-Verse’s opening sequence took place in Gwen Stacy’s world and was narrated by Spider-Woman, Gwen’s Spider-Verse timeline was a bit tricky. Across the Spider-Verse’s first sequence covered key moments in Gwen’s life, including the death of her Peter Parker, as described in Into the Spider-Verse. The film combined Gwen’s memories of Peter’s death with her life post-Into the Spider-Verse, which may have caused some confusion.

Gwen was on bad terms with her father, Captain Stacy, during that same window. Gwen and Miles never saw each other in the 16 months that separated Into the Spider-Verse from Across the Spider-Verse, leading to Miles' frustration over the Spider Society secrets.
5 How Old Peter B. Parker Is In Across The Spider-Verse
Peter B. Parker was 38 years old in Spider-Man:Into the Spider-Verse. As such, Peter B. Parker is roughly 40 years old in Across the Spider-Verse. The chance of seeing an adult Peter Parker is one of the most interesting things about the Spider-Verse franchise, as Spider-Man is usually portrayed as a teenager in most adaptations. Peter B. Parker is married to Mary Jane and has a daughter, May Parker, in Across the Spider-Verse. Seeing Spider-Man with Mayday was a highlight of Across the Spider-Verse, especially because Peter rarely gets to build a family in Marvel Comics.

4 How Old Miguel O’Hara Is In Across The Spider-Verse
Miguel O’Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, is often portrayed as being older than Peter Parker. Across the Spider-Verse kept that element and depicted Spider-Man 2099 as being older than most Spider-Man variants. In fact, Miguel appears to be older in Across the Spider-Verse than his original Marvel Comics counterpart. Spider-Man 2099 was in his late 20s during the character’s inception in the comics. However, Miguel O’Hara appears to be in his early 30s in Across the Spider-Verse. Spider-Man 2099 was old enough to have lost his wife and daughter, which makes more sense timeline-wise if Miguel O’Hara is in his early 30s.

Similar to Miguel O’Hara, Jessica Drew is older than most Spider-Man variants in Across the Spider-Verse. Spider-Woman’s Marvel Comics timeline can be very complicated, especially because Jessica Drew’s origins were set in the 1930s. Spider-Woman spent a portion of her life in a coma, yet she barely aged. That is why Jessica Drew operated as Spider-Woman along with other Marvel heroes such as Spider-Man and the Avengers. As such, Jessica Drew is usually depicted as being in her late 20s in Marvel Comics. In Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Woman is married and is expecting a child. Therefore, Jessica Drew is likely in her early 30s in Across the Spider-Verse.

Pavitr Prabhakar, Across the Spider-Verse’s Spider-Man India, has been Spider-Man for six months when he meets Miles.
